Rapper Richie Payso is a Canadian artist from Rexdale, Toronto signed to G7 Records Inc.—a subsidiary enterprise of Global 7 Entertainment Inc. Richie has been featured on Reema Major’s I Am Legend rap mixtape single “Downtown Life”, and has also collaborated with rapper Kwajo Cinqo, of two-time Juno Award winning Canadian hip-hop group Ghetto Concept.[1]
While Richie is currently working on his debut album Hate Is the New Love to be released in 2011, his singles "Pretty Boy Rock"[2] and "Ghetto Celeb"[3][4][5] are the first to debut off the compilation, and both have drawn comparisons to the likes of rappers Jay-Z and Big L. Having grown under the tough living conditions of his neighbourhood in Toronto's west-end,[6] Richie has now turned his past as a street hustler towards more creative ambitions as a music artist, where he now focuses his hustle on rapping.
